Media Planner
What is a Media Planner?
We’re the people who decide where and when ads should appear, so they reach the right audience. “Media” includes platforms like social media, websites, TV, streaming services, podcasts, radio and billboards. We spend our days studying audiences, building campaign plans and tracking results to make sure ads perform well. We usually work closely with creative teams, strategists and clients to help brands connect with people in the best possible way.

“I’m a curious person and I don’t settle for the first answer I see – I keep digging for more. I love exploring data and trying to understand why people do and say the things they do. We live in a world with more data than ever, and combing through it is pretty exciting.”

This is what I do most days…
I learn about different audiences, what they watch, read, listen to, and scroll through, so I can understand the best way to reach them.
I decide where ads should appear like social media platforms, websites, streaming services, podcasts, TV, or billboards, and help marketing campaigns succeed.
I track how campaigns are performing and make changes to improve results, reach more people, and help brands connect with the right audiences.
